- Prepare 1 tsp of sugar.
- You need to taste of Salt.

- It's 1 pack of Gyoza wrapper.

- Prepare of Dipping sauce.
- Prepare 3 tbsp of soy sauce.
- You need 1 tbsp of white wine vinegar.
- Prepare 1 of thumb size ginger (thin slices).
Gyoza(ι€ε) is the Japanese version of the Chinese dumpling Jiaozi(ι₯Ίε). Better known as "potstickers" in the US, they're delightful little dumplings made with garlicky meat and vegetables. Japanese gyoza are like Chinese dumplings and potstickers but use thinner skins and finely ground meat. Gyoza are a more delicate than the usual potsticker.
Vegetarian gyoza (dumpling) instructions
- Roast your butternut squash and sweet potato: Cut butternut squash and sweet potato into quarters lengthways, seeds removed fro squash. - Cook the gyoza in batches. Heat a non-stick frying pan with 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Place you dumpling or gyoza any clockwise and fry them on one side only – don’t turn them over, you just want one crispy side. They should be golden brown after about 2 mins..
- Add a small cup of water to the pan and cover with a steaming lid or a large sheet of foil with a few holes poked in the top.
